Job description

Baldwin General Contracting is hiring for a carpenter to work on a project in Bellevue. Carpenters work directly under the supervision of the Superintendent while representing the company in a professional manner.

Primary Duties

• Demonstrates quality in all work
• Utilizes proper lifting techniques
• Initiates all work as scheduled & with available materials.
• Supervise laborer to ensure safe work practices and appropriate task assignments
• Maintains own tools for job and uses the right tool for right job
• Uses proper start / stop / clean up procedures
• Erects / Installs CIP and or precast concrete panels.
• Completes layout / frames metal & wood, applies wood & cement to siding of buildings efficiently / effectively
• Installs windows, doors, hardware, cabinets, trim and is a competent carpenter

Qualifications

• Understands the duties of a carpenter, with 2-3 years of verifiable experience.
• Understands utilization and maintenance of all PPE Equipment.
• Able to understand and read Architectural & Engineering plans.
• Understand and is proficient in the erection of scaffolding systems.
• Aware of different means & methods of construction
