Job description:
The Drywall Estimator/Foreman calculates costs based on analysis of project specifications, pricing schedules for labor and materials, and historical data. This role also gives direction to workers regarding how to perform the work at each job site.
Position Duties:
- Responsible for accurately reading and understanding plans.
- Estimating labor and material for drywall installation.
- Estimating labor and material for steel stud installation.
- Estimating labor and material for wall assemblies.
- Explaining to field workers the most efficient way to perform the work.
